...With my head bowed down in SHAME. I have sunk to the most depraved of depths. My friends, at this very moment...I am watching...I am watching METEOR GARDEN.
Do not imagine for a moment that I am enjoying this. Not a scene passes by in which I want to strangle/stab all four of the quartet. Not even in the wierd scene where someone who I think is one of the guy's mum visits when when he's alluringly unconscious (cough cough COUGH) in his bed. To which she has had him has him tied. For reason unknown. (er...ew?) However, I have been solicited to write something on soap operas, the current craze for ASAIN soap operas, and so here we are.
*head desk*
On other note: Janie, Kae-san, Myka, Chii when can we sees you all? *paws*
And Katie, Katie, I have FINISHED KUSHIEL'S DART! Holy exquisite anguiesstte, Batman! I want a ticket to D'Angeline! Maybe this is blasphemy, but Carey's world -building apporaches the Tolkienesque. It's not just wierd names thrown in with a story-book tale about gods, it feels like REAL mythology, something lovingly crafted and told, and retold throughout generations. (I want Carey to write a story about Blessed Elua, now.)
(and for the record? I HEART Joscelin. Heart heart heart)
*pushes Kushiel's Dart at everyone in f'list*
