Jun. 28th, 2004 08:33 pmAfter happy slashy aesthetic weekend with friends, am now paying for it by bleeding to death. >.< (Oh-my God! It was PMS! You bastard!)Feel miserable, pooped, too-tired-to lift-little-finger, and now have cravings for yummy creamy things like what we all had at Bizu...
And cannot stress how sorry I am to friends about driver-fiasco...;__; *boink* No, will not stop stressing about it. Still feel bad, for all concerned, because I'm such a lousy organizer.
Was happy, however, that had opportunity to spoil (and abuse)you all for one weekend. ^__^ My mom and dad were happy too, and they offer you more cookies and pizza and happy spaces for slash. (no, they don't know about the last part, but what they do not know...)
Sleepover provided me with many joys. Among them
a) abusing friends while they are huddled in blankets half asleep and completely defenceless (this is for your own good Myka)
b) sticking tongue out at them while they lie unknowingly asleep...
c) Snape: "I'm too sexy for my body, too sexy for---" (is suddenly creeped out by Filch O.O )
d) Squueeeee! Pretty, pretty LeGuin book and matching pendant, Yami no Matsuei sketchbook from friends, squee squee, squee *hugs Jan, Chii, Myka and Kae and runs around house squeeing. parents are bemused)
e) The beauty that is Velvet Goldmine. (Guh)
f) the wisdom of the Book of Jobs. :D (and being overheard by waiter who, may, or may not have derived considerable entertainment and wisdom...)
g) finding out that ice + Jan = heeehehehehehehehehehe....
H) educating Myka and Chii in the poetry and complex mythology that is Dune...(unassisted by pokes by me)
i) discuss merits, failings, and overall nitpicks of tv adaptation of Dune with kae.
j) molest Chii's stuffed owl Baboushka...
k)hypnotize Myke into getting lj. *waves new pendant in front of Myka* lj is fun. lj is good. lj is your new life. lj will encompass your entire being. lj is *you...*
l)receive quite a bit of education on Greek history and mythology from the Greek (geek) goddesses who are Myka, Jan and Kae. O.O (so guys, if Troy *is* the actual Atlantis of Legend, how did Troy become the Atlantis of myth and legend?)
And BTW, friends, mild protest of description of book cabinet as "overflowing" (shifts eyes left to right as she tries to stop books from spilling out) Is not! Is just well-stocked, that's all...
