Wow, I'm so glad I'm moving out
Jan. 11th, 2007 11:36 pmBecause it will mean no longer having to deal with the Jane's and Peter's batshitness (not that I ever paid much attention to them anyway) and the politicking and sniping that goes on between them and the tutors, and hell, between them and the entire student body.
This also means I will no longer get screwed over by miscommunications and infighting between seperate college departments.
Case in point, Olivia emails me today telling me that, even though she said we could leave our things in our rooms for the duration of the holiday, that they would be safe, that we wouldn't be charged, cleaners came into some of our rooms anyway on Peter's behest to "clean them," and quite possibly, clear stuff out. This means some of my things might be missing, Olivia says. We're very sorry. Thanks muchly, friend.
It was out of Olivia's control, so maybe it's unfair to be cranky at her, but I can't help it. She gave us assurances that we could leave our stuff in our rooms as long as we were coming back, that nothing would happen, no one would move our things. And then surprise. This happens.
Whiskey tango.
