This of course, is not my place, BUT...
I would like to toast a certain new arrival. Congratulations, Janie, you're nine times a big sister. ;D (and thank you for reminding me that I too, am old enough to be his mum. *~*) Hey there, little feller!You haven't been named, and you havent' met me yet, but welcome to the world. It's a little screwy at the moment, but the forces of good shall fix that soon. And with nine sibs at your back, you have no need for fear.
Your very very biggest sister is in L.A. at the moment, but she'll be home soon, and she and Chii a host of honourary aunts and uncles who will ensure your corruption in your formative years. You shall be rocked to sleep with Loreena McKennit and Evanescence, Coldplay and Ben Folds, and Phantom of the Opera and Jekyll and Hyde. You shall be entertained by your sibs' renditions of Gollum and Stitch, be driven mad by the beautiful chaos that is your family, drive the world insane, in turn, with the unique force that will be you. And most of all, dear heart, you will be loved.
