Okay maybe I am. Just a *little.*
There are more things to life, there really are. One, Nyssa, Megan, Michael and I took the tram to Merle's house, managed not to get lost this time, showed up just in time for Doctor Who to help Merle with dinner, and play soccer with Lacey. (Yes, she can do it, whatever Michael says.) And lo and behold, I discover for the first time the machinery people call the household dishwasher, actually made butter and buttermilk from the leftover whipped cream for dessert, when everyone else was watching a Dr. Who movie that Made Absolutely No Sense. Wince-inducing moment was when, at climatic moment of evil triumph, The Master says Asian sidekick (affectionately called Token) "has become a son to me." Or something. OUCH. Ouch ouch ouch ouch.
May Erik and John never have similar wince-inducing moment in X3. Or Mystique and Kurt. (Yes, I know he's her son in canon, but if it's ever revealed in the movies, I want the moment to be beautiful, not agonzing For All The Wrong Reasons.)
In other news, saw Nyssa and Megan perform the chicken dance. Was very entertaining.
